Greetings from Seaside! Competition is underway... Interviews began this morning!

Arrival was Sunday, and everyone made it with no incident. The contestants all look great, and really seem to have done a lot of work since workshop. Good for them! Sunday everyone enjoyed a welcome dinner and rehearsal began right away!

 All of the contestants enjoyed the "media tour" yesterday, with stops at the Astro Column, a trolley ride through Astoria, a visit to historic Fort Clatsop, and lunch at Tongue Point Job Corps. The only thing that could have made the day better is warmer weather! So far, it has been very "coastal" here - cloudy skies, and not enough sunshine!

Things are off to a great start!
